Although, now that I posted that other one I think I do have a few more things to say:
I love, love LOVE being at home with my son. He is such a joy to me, and it is so much fun to watch him learn and explore.
At the time being, I don't really mind not doing very much art-wise... I think it has to do with the fact that my creativity is being used in different ways. I am making my own baby food, so that is a process... I am using cloth diapers about 90% of the time, which does take up a bit more time. I am actively trying to get my garden to grow (although some type of ninja bunny is eating up my tender little bell peppers. Die ninja bunny, die! not really, but I really do wish all my plants would survive and give me a great crop of peppers.) I am taking TONS of photos, even though I told myself I wouldn't go over board on the first kid, I probably am. And I am reading quite a bit, which is such an amazing creative process in my head... I would rather read than see a movie any day.
My kid is funny, which I think is great. He is a great combination of Jeff and me. Chase is happy like Jeff, and can make the strangest noises like me :) ... he also is a great combination of Asian and American Mutt. I recently learned that there is a term for anyone who is part Asian, which is Happa. I guess at one time Happa used to be a derogitory term, but now it is used with pride of their heritage. I hope my little man loves being Happa. I love my Happa.
